The Poofessor

For eleven years the Poofessor held the Chair of Applied Plumbing at a university that has since asked us not to name it. He never raised his voice — he lowered the temperature of the room until the answer arrived. He reads free of charge: a public service, he calls it; a condition of his release, we call it. Every pooem is marked. No one has ever passed.
