What Porcelain Pooetry processes

Porcelain Pooetry can use your device location, or a home area you choose, to request a local weather forecast. Precise coordinates are used for that request and are not saved in the Porcelain Pooetry content database. You can skip location access and change this choice in Settings.

The app uses an anonymous Firebase account to retrieve published pooems. Firebase may process a generated account identifier, basic device and network information, and service logs needed to operate and secure the app.

Data kept on your device

Porcelain Pooetry stores preferences, recently viewed days, published verses, forecast cache, and downloaded narration on your device so the app can work offline. You can clear downloaded audio in Settings. Removing the app clears its local data according to your operating system.

Service providers

Firebase provides authentication, content delivery, storage, hosting, and server infrastructure. Weather requests are served through Porcelain Pooetry infrastructure and may be fulfilled by Open-Meteo. Their own privacy terms apply to data they process.

Sharing and retention

Porcelain Pooetry does not sell personal information. Service data is shared only with providers needed to operate the app or when required by law. Operational logs are retained according to provider settings; on-device data remains until you clear it or remove the app.
